Privacy policy
The legally binding version is the German privacy policy. This translation is for information only.
1. Overview
janosik.de sets no cookies, embeds no third-party services (no analytics, advertising, social media, external fonts or video platforms) and builds no user profiles. Fonts, images and videos are served from our own server. Personal data is only processed when you visit the site (technical logs) or write to us via the contact form.
2. Controller
Traffic netWorks, Martin Janosik, Speditionstraße 8, 40221 Düsseldorf, Germany. Email: info@janosik.de
3. Hosting and server logs
The website runs on a server operated by netcup GmbH, Daimlerstraße 25, 76185 Karlsruhe, Germany (data centre in Germany), under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
Each page request causes the web server to process technically necessary data: a shortened IP address (the last digits are removed before storage), date and time, requested address, status code, amount of data transferred, referrer and browser identifier. The purpose is to deliver the website securely and reliably and to fend off attacks; the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Logs are deleted automatically after 14 days at the latest.
4. Contact form and email
If you write to us, we process your name, email address and message in order to reply (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). The message is sent to us by email and stored in a database. Mailbox and database are hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany (processing under Art. 28 GDPR). To prevent abuse, your IP address is kept in memory for at most one hour and never stored permanently. We delete enquiries once they are dealt with, at the latest after 12 months, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
5. Videos
Documentaries are served from our own server; no data is passed to video platforms. A video only loads once you press play.
6. Browser storage
janosik.de stores no cookies and no data in your browser's local storage.
7. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
8. No automated decision-making
No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.
9. Changes
We update this policy when the website or the legal situation changes. Last updated: October 2026.
