AI transparency
What we use AI for
- Research: AI assistants search archives, academic literature and museum websites and summarise them. Every claim we adopt is backed by a source that was opened and checked.
- Writing and translation: Articles are written with the help of a language model (Claude by Anthropic) and translated into Slovak and English.
- Illustrations: Mood pictures are created with image models. They are labelled “AI illustration” and do not show the historical appearance of people or places.
- Diagrams and maps are programmed from verified data (timelines, maps with coordinates from Wikidata) rather than freely generated.
- Documentaries: Videos are assembled from text, maps, diagrams and illustrations with HyperFrames; the narrator’s voice is synthetic (ElevenLabs).
What AI does not do here
- It does not invent sources: anything that cannot be opened and checked is not cited.
- It does not decide what is published. The editors are responsible (see legal notice).
Labelling
Every article ends with a transparency notice under Art. 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689. Please report errors to info@janosik.de.
